Hollywood Video To Close All Stores
The WSJ has reported that Hollywood Video will shut down its store operations. Netflix and Redbox were cited as contributing factors.
With the post office discussing stopping Saturday deliveries, do physical stores again become a point of competitive advantage in this industry. Either way, I would expect that there will be a resurgence of physical video stores similar to those that we see in the music industry (i.e. Electric Fetus.)
